Thursday, March 1, 2012 6:30 - 9:30pm In this seminar, we will look at the basic principles that govern the way cloth folds and hangs on the body. Participants are asked to bring the drawing materials of their choosing, although dry, erasable media and larger sized formats (upwards of 9" x 12") are preferred. In addition, participants should bring a few pieces of tracing paper or vellum, and a small amount of art or masking tape. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Michael Massen is the author of The Artist's Guide to Drawing the Clothed Figure, published by Watson-Guptill. He holds an MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art. In addition to having exhibited his sculpture and painting in local and national shows, he worked for many years as a graphic designer and art director. Tickets $20/ $10 students Join us for Brunch!
