Inspired once again by Sándor Márai?s florid and passionate novel, Casanova in Bolzano, Executive Chef Elizabeth Binder has lovingly assembled a 5-course feast for the senses. Our menu d'innamorati ("menu of love") starts in Venice, the birthplace of Casanova, then travels further north to the province of Bolzano in the mountainous region of Alto Adige for inspiration. Our menu ends its journey back in Venice with a special sweetness from Pastry Chef Alyce Sheilds. Highlights from Chef Binder?s menu includes sliced wild halibut crudo; house-made pasta stuffed winter mushroom and topped with shaved black truffle; and a short rib goulash topped with chive-speck dumplings and a light horseradish cren.
