COMING SOON! Harvest on Henry Farm Fest
Saturday, Oct. 17, Noon-4 p.m. Henry Got Crops Farm, 7095 Henry Ave. (at Saul High School) Our annual fall festival and fundraiser is fast approaching! Come for fun pumpkin-themed games, hayrides, a petting barnyard, live music and food trucks! Bring a pie to be sliced and sold alongside student-made ice cream — or enter the pie contest to win prizes including gift certificates to local foodie and wellness shops, a cookbook from Food in Jars author Marisa McClellan

FRIDAY! Movie Night at the Farm “Curious George — Halloween Boo Fest” Oct. 9, 7-8:30 p.m. Henry Got Crops Farm, 7095 Henry Ave. (at Saul High School) Our last farm movie night of the year! Bring a picnic and a blanket. The screening starts at sunset, which should be around 7:15 p.m. Come early to shop the farmstand until 6 p.m., and spend some time exploring the farm, where lots of stuff is still happening. SATURDAY! Samples to Pepper Your Palate in Chestnut Hill Oct. 10, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.  John Connor will kick it up a notch with a garlic and pepper trio of cheeses. Back again is Uniquely Greek from Boothwyn, with a spicy buffalo feta spread. It’ll be joined by a garlic and peppercorn jack cheese from Cherry Grove Farm in Lawrenceville, N.J. and Beecher’s Handmade
Marco Polo cheese with green and black peppercorns from Pike Place Market in Seattle. Rounding out the table will be popcorn sprinkled with Philly’s own St. Lucifer garlic and habanero spice blend. Drift by, and keep your beverage handy.
LOCAL MONDAY Sampling Is Back! Oct. 12, 4-7 p.m. Mt. Airy store Meet Caleb Mangum, owner of Nutty Novelties, and try some of the awesome gourmet nut butters he makes in Souderton.

The farmstand is still going strong with local apples, pears and grapes from our friends at Beechwood Orchards and Three Springs Fruit Farm. Come Friday for apple cider donuts fresh from Solebury Orchards. Look for: Radishes, Hakurei turnips and kale.
