Entries for the 2016 edition of the San Francisco International Film Festival (SFIFF) will open September 1, 2015! Works in all genres, forms and lengths are considered.The longest-running film festival in the Americas, SFIFF is recognized throughout the world as an extraordinary showcase of cinematic discovery in one of the most beautiful cities in the US. The Festival combines a range of marquee premieres, international competitions, compelling documentaries, new media work, musical performances and star-studded events.

Next month, a host of films from the 58th San Francisco International Film Festival lineup will hit Bay Area theaters. We are thrilled that these incredible stories are making their way into the world and onto the big screen. 
Highlights from these new releases include SFIFF58 Opening Night film Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine, the silent and stunning Ukrainian drama The Tribe (pictured),The Royal Road – an experimental documentary from local filmmaker Jenni Olson and much more.
