NEVER ODD OR EVEN
Directed by Theresa Buchheister Written by Ryan William Downey, Theresa Buchheister, Scott Ries & Spencer T. Campbell       Five isolated human shapes Pivot through time and space while Navigating the fantastical beasts, Dead playwrights, Confounding mathematicians, And earnest cowboys They encounter and become. September 8 – September 19

REREAD ANOTHER
Directed by David Herskovits Text by Gertrude Stein        Target Margin Theater revives Reread Another-the critically-acclaimed, fun, fast-moving new work performed only twice before. What’s in it? Love and loss and holiday gifts; the remembrance of music past; we climb mountains; Clare plays Erik Satie on the piano; the leaves do fall. “Something kind of wonderful has happened,” says Ben Brantley, “performed with tripping grace.” Featuring Clare Barron, Purva Bedi, Ugo Chukwu, and introducing Jesse Freedman, Reread Another is the capstone to Target Margin’s season of work by Gertrude Stein.   September 24 – October 17

THE ORACLE
Curated by Jason Schuler Contributing Artists: Alison Folland, Eleanor Hutchins, Alessandro Magania, Jennifer McKenna, Ken Nintzel, Eva Peskin, Kourtney Rutherford, Jason Schuler, Jon Leon Torn, and more…         The Operating Theater Company presents a surreal, interactive museum exhibition featuring live dioramas depicting the extraordinary life of Iris Atalanta Lee. After inciting a riot that led to the burning of a factory during the first industrial revolution, Miss Lee, a radical member of the Luddite army, was executed by beheading. Her severed head has travelled the world, purportedly sharing secrets from beyond the grave. Witness for yourself whether this historic and mysterious, Promethean oracle foretells the future.    October 22 – October 31

HOW TO GET INTO BUILDINGS
a New Georges production
written by Trish Harnetiaux
directed by Katherine Brook

EXPLODED VIEW = n. An illustration or diagram of a construction that shows its parts separately but in positions that indicate their proper relationships to the whole.
Roger and Lucy meet at a convention. Daphne and Nick break down at a diner. Ethan reads compulsively from his new hit book.  Wait…Who’s calling please? Oh, it’s the Telethon Oracle…Everyone knows you were about to disappear…So sorry, we’re out of fish…
HOW TO GET INTO BUILDINGS is an exploded view of love; confusion blends with confidence, time keeps shifting, amateurs are experts, and brunch can be fatal.

December 3 – December 19

A Delicate Ship
a new play by Anna Ziegler

It’s Christmas Eve, and Sarah and Sam are celebrating like New Yorkers: flirting over wine and debating the nature of existential suffering. A kaleidoscopic look at one night in New York City that changes the lives of three people forever.
STARRING Matt Dellapina, Miriam Silverman, & Nick Westrate
Runs 8/18 – 9/12 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 W. 42nd Street
