Mindfulness Practices for Pain, Stress and Illness, Led by Shunyamala

Saturday, July 18, 10am to 4pm 
(option to leave at 1pm)

Science has shown that our bodies naturally want to find internal balance and health. This Saturday we will practice ways of listening to our bodies, calming our minds, and using the breath as the bridge that connects them both.
Whether you have persistent pain, ongoing stress, or the uneasy sense of being out of sync with your naturally well, whole body, these mindfulness practices can help cultivate your own resources and recalibrate existing brain patterns.  
We will practice guided meditations, body scans, reflective curiosity, and gentle movement, largely based on the Breathworks system, developed by Vidyamala Burch, through her own years of managing traumatic injury and a subsequent deep mindfulness practice.  Come join us for a day of discovery and comfort.
