Saturday at Barton Creek Mall:

Jimmy Joe Natoli starts the music at 9 am.  He plays fun kids songs, tunes about cars, and Brazilian flavored instrumentals.  At 10:10, Chrissie joins him and they perform upbeat, quirky duets and more kids songs as “The Better Halves.”  At 11:11, the musical guest is Jack Geiser, with fun, upbeat songs and a great voice!

Chef Jack Gilmore from Jack Allen’s Kitchen
will be grilling up some fantastic Jack specials next to Celtic Seafare this Saturday from 10am at Barton Creek Farmers Market; all the the proceeds to benefit local flood victims through the Austin Disaster Relief Network , come on down!  Celtic Seafare has organized this and is generously be contributing to this effort.

Ruth Wilmore with Vital Farms has organized a refrigerated truckload of food to be taken to the Hays County Food Bank tomorow at the end of the market. You can bring your donation to the market between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. Non-perishable foods can be dropped off any time after the market opens at 9 am. The Hays County Food Bank is working in conjunction with several other organizations 
to feed the residents in need and the relief workers. Food trailers, individuals, churches, etc. will be on location preparing food.

Bring your knives to be sharpened – Southpaw Sharpening is at the market every Saturday!


We have lots of blackberries and peaches from lots of farms!
Caeda Farm, Comanche Oaks Farm, Caskey Orchards, Hill Country Homestyle Canning, Engel Farms, Big Brazos Sustainable Farm and Jenske Orchard all have peaches and/or blackberries!
Pop’topia is coming for the first time with a variety of organic popsicles. 

Worth Effort is bringing his gorgeous handmade wooden bowls and other wooden objects!
 Caeda Farm will be there with their gorgeous flower bouquets and blackberries! 
 Moore Cookies is bringing their excellent array of gluten-free cookies. 
 Garlilc Lovers!  Fruitful Hill Farm has an heirlooom garlic variety that is very strong. Check it out! 
We have some delicious gluten-free and organic wheat treats from Cake de Chez Nous!  Her gluten-free raspberry lemon scones are super.  Duckling Baking Co. specializes in using duck eggs in all of their organic baked treats!
  Let’s Get Pie uses British recipes to create some really yummy baked desserts.

Richardson Farms, Full Quiver and Smith and Smith have a wonderful variety of sausages, not to mention their pasture raised chickens, beef, pork and lamb.  Twin County’s lamb is a great treat and makes a very special Easter meal.
