Greetings! 

Have you ever done something that challenged you so much – both mentally and physically, that you walked away with a new understanding of what you can ACTUALLY do? 

That’s what happened to me on Saturday when I participated in an 80-mile bike ride in New Jersey that was riddled with steep hills, muddy gravel roads, pot holes and wind gusts of 45 miles and hour. While I was struggling with the challenge and exhaustion, I was at the same time exhilarated by the idea that once I was done I’d have completed the longest and hardest ride of my life. 
That’s the feeling I want our boot camp participants to have when they first join our classes and struggle to make it through. The mental struggle is usually tougher than the physical one. Once you conquer your demons and make it through, you continue to challenge yourself. Not just in your workouts, but in other areas of your life. 

As we kick off the OUTDOOR Season on Monday, April 13th, I want you all to remember that every beginning is tough, but with consistent practice you become a master of your own body. At the end of Summer you will feel in control, accomplished and wonder what else you’ve got.
