25th Anniversary of EDSA People Power Mass

The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, in cooperation with the Office
of the Filipino Ministry, Archdiocese of Los Angeles, wishes to invite the public
to a Holy Mass, with Bishop Oscar Solis as main celebrant, to commemorate the 25th
Anniversary of the EDSA People Power revolution of 1986. The Holy Mass will be held
on Friday, 25 February 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Basil Catholic Church, located
at 637 S. Kingsley Drive, Los Angeles CA 90005 (in front of the Philippine Consulate

The Filipino American Association of Brevard County (FAABCO) will hold its post
Valentine’s Day Party at the Elks Lodge 211 South Nieman Ave., Melbourne, FL 32901,

UW FASA ‘Heaven at Night’ Formal 2011

The Filipino American Student Association at UW invites you to the biggest night
of the year entitled, “Heaven at Night” Formal 2011, happening on Saturday, February
26,9pm, at the Cirque Event Center in Seattle. Tickets are sold for $16 for FASA
members; $18 for general admission; $20 at the door and are not refundable. Tickets
will be going on sale beginning Feb. 10th until the day of the event. You may contact

The Fil-Am Association of Iowa’s 27th Annual Valentines Party

The Filipino-American Association of Iowa invites you to their 27th Annual Valentines
Party happening on Feb. 26, Saturday, starting 5pm until 12am at the Meadows Events
& Conference Center at Prairie Meadows, Iowa (Off I-80 Exit 142 in Altoona) Tickets

80th Grand Reunion and Homecoming of PWU

The Philippine Women’s University will hold its 80th grand reunion with the theme
“Vive La Vie,” a mardi gras celebration on February 26, 2011, 4:00 pm at Centennial
Hall of the historic Manila Hotel. Amelia C. Alonzo, PWU Alumni Association President
said this year’s golden and silver jubilarians are high school and college graduates
of class ’61 and ’86 respectively, while the jubilarians are all graduates belonging

Fil*Anthropy Show 2011

Northwestern University’s Kaibigan will be having its 4th annual Fil*Anthropy Show
on Saturday, February 26th, from 3-5PM at the McCormick Auditorium, Norris Center,
1999 Campus Drive, Evanston, Il. For the third year, Kaibigan’s beneficiary will
be BELIEVE International, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the
education of underprivileged children in the Philippines. We’re proud to present
this year’s guest performer, Erick Esteban! Other local acts include the Roxas
Brothers and Isang Hakbang from Northside Prep. Northwestern performances include
Kaibigan, the Slam Society, Treblemakers, BoomShaka, and more!
