BEGINNER’S 5K TRAINING PROGRAM BEGINS TOMORROW FEBRUARY 16TH

This Winter/Spring, join Fleet Feet Sports and New Balance to walk or run your first
5k. The program focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are
5K in less than three months. Along the way we’ll be providing you with motivation
to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and
educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear,
and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you.

MARATHON & 1/2 MARATHON TRAINING PROGRAM BEGINS MARCH 9TH

Are you interested in completing your first 1/2 Marathon? Do you want to cross
the finish line after conquering 26.2 miles? Is your goal to qualify to attack
the Newton Hills at the Boston Marathon?

If you even considered saying YES to any of those questions or anything in between,
this can be the program for you! Our program will begin on March 9th and we’ll
spend 16 weeks training and teaching you how to make these goals a reality. Our
goal race will be the 2011 Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon & 1/2 Marathon to be
held on June 25th. We’re partnering with Brooks as well so you can count on some
great hometown gear along the way!!

Looking for a fast, scenic half-marathon in the springtime? The Lake Sammamish Half-Marathon
on March 26th is a favorite of Road and Trail Runners alike. The course travels
the East Lake Sammamish Trail from Issaquah to Marymoor Park. Fleet Feet is excited
to be there and support the run. Chip timed, Finisher Medal and Tech Shirt, and
a great postrace buffet included.

Are you looking for a great opportunity to volunteer and spread your love of running?
The American Heart Association is looking for part time volunteer coaches for their
more information!

TUESDAY: 6pm at Fleet Feet

6 miles; 7-11 min pace

THURSDAY: 6pm at Fleet Feet

SATURDAY: 8am at Fleet Feet
Distance/Route & Paces TBD
(@ 10-15 mile routes, varied paces)
