FEBRUARY / MARCH 2011

Ben’s Cleaners Sales is devoted to creating the perfect pressure washing setup to
fit your cleaning needs. Being in business since 1945, Ben’s has over 65 years of
experience working with cleaning professionals like you. This time has given us
the knowledge to find or create exactly what you are looking for.

One unique project Ben’s Cleaner Sales has had the privilege of is working with
the University of Wisconsin to create a machine to drill

through ice at the South Pole to research neutrinos, known as the IceCube Project.
Pressure washers can be used for applications never heard of. That’s where we like
to come into play, to help make things possible. Interested in this topic, more

Another unique application we have supplied equipment for is dive suit heaters.
A heater pumps warm water through chambers in dive suits, keeping the diver warm
as he dives deeper into colder water.

A current project Ben’s is working on is installing several pieces of equipment
into a box truck to ultimately clean & disinfect garbage cans. We have come to nickname
the project The Hulk. We worked closely with our customer to transform this truck
into a fully closed-loop wash water recycle system. The waste water it produces
will be picked-up, filtered and ready for reuse. It can be used to clean garbage
cans, concrete, hazardous waste clean-up and other applications.

A great benefit of this project is it cleans green! It produces no waste, has no
gas engines, uses hydraulic motors, and is fully automated.

Can’t find what you are looking for? Let Ben’s Cleaner Sales help you customize
something that will meet your cleaning needs.

Do you have a unique way you have used a pressure washer? We would love to hear
about your stories.

Ben’s carries a variety of product lines including pressure washers, steam cleaners,
outdoor power equipment, infrared heaters, chemicals, parts and so much more. We
pull from many manufacturers to provide our customers with options.

FREE With A New Machine Purchase

Who doesn’t like FREE stuff?!! That’s why Ben’s Cleaner Sales wants to provide you
with something extra with your new pressure washer purchase.

For a limited time through the end of March 2011, you can get the Triple Whammy.
Receive a gallon of chemical, 1 quart of pump oil, and your choice of a turbo nozzle
or hour meter with the purchase of a new pressure washer of $500 or more!

We haven’t had a deal like this before, and it won’t last long. A great value worth
over $115.00!

Chemicals are great to help remove dirt & grease along with your pressure washer.
Increase your cleaning power with 1 gallon of our cleaning chemical, included in
our special promotion. Did you know the pump oil in your new pressure washer needs
to be changed after the first 50 hours of use? Now you will have the pump oil on
hand with this limited time offer. And with the hour meter, you won’t have to guess
how many hours you have been running the machine before you need to change the pump
oil. Hour meters are also great for other suggested service intervals.

Or choose a turbo nozzle, great for reducing the time it takes to clean using a
standard nozzle. The turbo nozzle takes the zero degree impact and spins it in a
circle, providing high impact and a larger cleaning coverage.

Now is a great time to buy. Not sure what machine to get? Ask one of our expert
salesmen what pressure washer is best for your applications. We are here to help
you with all of your pressure washing & cleaning needs!

The Importance of Nozzle Size

Spray nozzles may seem like a small component in a pressure wash operation, but
they can have a huge impact on your profitability & operation of your pressure washer.

Selecting the correct pressure washer tip is crucial. If a user selects a nozzle
size that is too small, it restricts the water flow and can cause your machine
to not work properly. You may also experience higher amp draw, belt slippage, hotter
water discharge, premature motor, pump & unloader wear, & less discharge flow. If
too large of a tip is chosen, the cleaning ability of the washer is reduced with
a loss of pressure.

Using a wrong nozzle or worn nozzles can produce a poor quality wash resulting in
loss of customers, excessive downtime & increased labor costs, pump wear & preventative
equipment repairs.

The orifice size of the nozzle determines the operating pressure of your machine.

It is important in selecting the correct nozzle size to know your output of your
pump (PSI & GPM). You can view a nozzle chart on our website at www.BensCleaner.com
Below is a small sample of how to find the right nozzle size.

Quick disconnect pressure washer nozzles are color coded to indicate which pattern
(degree) of fan spray they produce.

· The red tip is a 0° nozzle, delivering the highest impact as it

concentrates the pressure into the smallest area.

· The yellow tip creates a 15° fan pattern, referred to as chiseling tips used

like a scraper.

· The green tip produces a 25° fan pattern, also known as the wash tip.

· The white tip is the 40° fan tip, used more for rinsing and delicate

washing due to its wider spray dispersion.

Remember that pressure washer nozzles are a wear & tear item. A constant flow of
water can wear away the nozzle orifice, increasing the nozzle’s orifice size, resulting
in loss of pressure. It is a good idea to invest in a pressure gauge to help identify
the loss in pressure is nothing more than an inexpensive worn nozzle & not a reason
for pump repairs. Get a pressure gauge from Ben’s for only $29.90.

It is also helpful to have spares on hand for instances when an improperly seated
nozzle projectiles off, or simply misplacing nozzles.

Not sure what nozzle size you need? Our knowledgeable staff & Ben’s Cleaner Sales
is here to help you with all of your cleaning needs. Just bring with you your GPM
& PSI of your pressure washer & we can take care of the rest!
